For the first time industries are now finding that there water bills are now twice as expensive as electricity, a growing number of medium to high users of water are turning to sourcing their own water supply as a means of reducing costs. Nestle is a prime example of a company have been using water boreholes for a long time.

Is water available everywhere?

There is no guarantee that water will be found by drilling a borehole, TND Drilling have access to reliable data that will allow us to advise on any site before we commence any work.TND Drilling will not commence any work unless we believe we can find water. The quality of borehole water is generally very good, as the water companies use boreholes for large quantities for their supplies.

Costs & Maintenance

Boreholes vary in cost depending on depth. Maintenance costs need to be a minimum and lining the borehole the whole length and the use of the best quality electrics and non corrosive materials goes a long way to ensuring trouble free service for the lifetime of the borehole.

As a general rule of thumb most customers cover the capital cost including running costs within 2 years or less.
